Our Senior Management Team


CLC is led by a highly skilled and experienced faculty. Together, the administrators and teachers work closely to provide a rigorous, yet thoroughly enjoyable teaching environment for all students.


CLC's educators and administrators collectively have many years of experience in education in Asia. Many of the teachers have previously worked in accredited schools around the region and all of them are qualified and certified English educators. CLC carefully selects its managers and teachers based on academic and work experience.



John Crawford
Chairman


Mr. Crawford has a successful history of establishing and leading important businesses in Asia. He was one of the founding partner of the international accounting firm Ernst & Young, Hong Kong.


He was the Vice Chairman of Ernst & Young until he retired in 1997. He was a founder and is currently member of the Canadian International School of Hong Kong and Founding Governor of The International School of Macau. Mr. Crawford’s extensive record of public service includes being a Justice of the Peace, a founding member of UNICEF Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

Real Hryhirchuk
Executive Director


Mr. Hryhirchuk is responsible for managing CLC's learning centre operations, programs and policies. His extensive background as an educator and administrator comes from over 12 years teaching experience in Kindergarten to Grade 12 education levels. Furthermore, he served for 8 years as principal in two schools in Alberta, Canada and for four years as the principal of The International School of Macao ("TIS").


Mr. Hryhirchuk is also experienced at establishing educational institutions. In his role as the principal of TIS, he worked closely with the school governors and the Ministry of Education in Alberta to formalize the accreditation of the school, making TIS the first out-of-the-province school accredited by Alberta Education in 2006.


As the principal of TIS he also broadened and strengthened the school's curriculum through student-teacher exchange programs, home stays and strategic partnerships. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Leadership, all from the University of Alberta.
