Meet Our Teachers

Anna Smibert
Calgary, Canada

My name is Anna Smibert, and I think I am very lucky indeed. I graduated from the University of Calgary in Canada with Bachelor of Education degree, and later earned an Early Childhood Education diploma. It has been my fortune to spend my entire career doing something that I love – teaching Pre-Kindergarten and Grades 1 to 6. I have been a teacher librarian, an Early Literacy Lead teacher, a Reading Recovery teacher, and briefly served as Acting Assistant Principal. And now, I have the special opportunity to work with children at CLC, teaching English language learners. I think I am very lucky indeed!
